Estimated completion is scheduled for the first week of December.It is now necessary to test the fire alarm to add the student Service kitchen to the school system. Testing will take place shortlyafter 8:00 am on Saturday, November 4, 2017. We apologize in advance for any inconvienence this may cause.Update 10/7/2017Construction work continues in the student food service kitchen.Landscape in front of school is near completion. Artificial turf at front seat wall and kindergarten play area is complete.Concrete at the seat wall at kindergarten lunch area will be completed Saturday.Fencing in front of classrooms is underway.
Update 9/18/2017The administrative offices are now open and staff is settled.The office staff are scheduled to occupy the new administration offices on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Watch for communication from the Solana Highlands Principal the week of September 11.The student kitchen remains under construction. Expected completion late-October.Update 8/28/2017Welcome back everyone. So glad to see everyone at the Solana Highlands Mini Open House today. We are ready for the 2017-18 school year. Thank you for your patience through the continuing modernization project. The administration and student service kitchen remain under construction while the rest of the campus is ready for students.
Update 8/4/2017The revised framing of the interior areas, entrance, and student kitchen as well as site work, the installation of new lunch shelters, replacement of air conditioning units, replacement of roof with standing seam metal, and systems upgrades are well underway.Update 6/23/2017Construction is underway at Solana Highlands. Packing and moving of all materials and furniture is complete and new flooring is being installed. Demolition of the administration and the new child nutrition services kitchen began the week of 6/19/2017. We expect the delivery of various supplies in the next few weeks (e.g. heating and air conditioning units, appliances, roofing materials, etc.).The Administrative office, temporarily located in Room 12 is closed for the summer. Office staff return to Room 12 Monday, August 7th.
