Welcome to our Solana Santa Fe 2022-23 School Year!
It will be a wonderful year for all of our kindergarten children! Each child will be valued and praised for their efforts and contributions to our classroom. They will develop academic, social and leadership skills. Love and respect will be modeled daily to ensure respectable behavior and a safe learning environment for all students. The children will participate in a STREAM Program which will include Science, Technology, Research, Engineering, Art and Math in their weekly lessons in the classroom and Discovery Labs.
During the summer, I lead a Deep Dive on Minds On Learning. I am excited to apply these strategies during our morning meetings and throughout the day. The program enables children to be engaged in learning experiences and offers practice to develop strong social and emotional skill. Students will participate in a lot of thinking routines.
For our daily instruction, I will work with my teacher assistant and parent volunteers to form small instructional groups for reading, writing and math. The children will participate in individual reading and math practice sessions. Parent volunteers play a big role in my room.At Solana Santa Fe, we inspire greatness in all of our children. Each child develops successful learning skills by showing empathy and practice how to have optimism, persistence, resilience, and flexibility in their daily lives.
