            My teaching philosophy is to create a safe and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and take academic risks.  I hold high expectations for each student and challenge every student to try his or her best in our classroom.  In addition to developing academic skills, at Solana Pacific we help students strengthen social emotional abilities and build organizational skills, collaboration skills, and independence, so they will be successful and happy this year and in years to come.  It is so important for children to enjoy coming to school, and in this classroom students are encouraged and guided to become leaders and life-long learners.
