Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Victoria Hall
I am so excited to be teaching 4th grade for the fifth year at Solana Pacific and embark on an academic journey with the students! Solana Pacific is a very special place, and I am continually touched by the warmth of the students, parents, school, and community. Before teaching in the Solana Beach School District, I taught for seven years (three years in third grade, four years in fourth grade) in the Los Gatos Union School District in Northern California, where I gained invaluable experiences and formed close connections with students, parents, and colleagues. I love teaching 4th grade because of the rich and engaging curriculum, including author studies, division and fractions, expository writing, electricity, and, of course, California history!
Earlier this year my husband and I welcomed our son, Asher! Now Asher is a babbling, almost-crawling, super happy 6 month old, who is doted upon (and sometimes lovingly squished) by our 3 year old daughter, Eleanor. I am very excited to be back in the classroom this year and teaching a new batch of wonderful students!
My educational experiences include a BA from Stanford (’05), MA in Education from Stanford (’06), and M.Ed. in Administration and School Building Leadership from Columbia University (’11). When I am not in the classroom, I like to spend time with my family discovering new places around San Diego, playing the flute in local ensembles, and reading.
