I am proud to welcome you to Solana Pacific School, a California Distinuguished School in 2014 and 2018!

I feel so fortunate to be working alongside such a successful and impressive group of students, teachers, staff members and parents. As an educator for over 25 years, my background is varied and extensive. I have taught middle and elementary school. I also served as a special program director and an assistant principal before becoming an elementary school principal in 2003.
Solana Pacific is a Leader in Me School where teachers and staff are dedicated to working collaboratively toward academic success for every learner. Our school supports our students social-emotional well-being and strives for a positive school climate where students are leaders in their learning, around campus and in our community. Solana Pacific students attend monthly PRIDE assemblies focusing on the Habit of the Month. Each week, through a collaboration with our Solana Beach Schools Foundation, students participate in our award winning STREAM program and engage in Science, Technology, Research, Art, Physical Education and Music lessons.

Our families and community are an integral part of our school’s success. Parents can be found supporting classrooms, planning school wide community-building events and engaged in other meaningful work. We encourage you to get involved with any of the invaluable parent committees that support Solana Pacific and our students such as our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), Solana Beach Schools Foundation (SBSF), and English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC).

Let's continue to build upon the tradition of excellence established at Solana Pacific. This includes a strong connection between home and school that directly benefits our children and sends the strong message that we are all on the same team for the same reason....our children's success. I look forward to meeting you and working together for years to come. Stop by anytime to say "hello"!
