My name is Allison Schmitt and I am thrilled to begin my 14th year of teaching with a new group of "Schmitt's Scholars!" Born and raised in San Diego, I spent the first five years of my career teaching grades 3-5 and Dual Immersion in Chula Vista. In 2016, I moved to Solana Pacific and have been a proud Sandpiper ever since! I am an alumni of both the University of San Diego (Undergraduate Degree/Multiple Subject Credential) and San Diego State University (Masters in Teaching.) This is my 10th year teaching the best grade (I may be biased!) 

I am a proud mom of three (Clayton: 5 and twins Melody & Ember: 1.5) My husband and I have a 10-year-old 100+ pound mutt we treat as our fourth child as well! I love the beach, playing the piano, cheering on the Padres, and attending morning workouts at Burn Bootcamp. A fun fact about me is that I collect anything and everything giraffe. My students have done a fantastic job of adding to my classroom collection over the years.
