Solana Pacific

I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Jennifer Oakley, and I am one of the learning center teachers at Solana Pacific. 

As an Education Specialist, this is my 9th year here at Solana Pacific. Before that, I worked as an instructional aide and was a general education teacher. My educational background includes an M.A. in Education from Cal State, San Marcos, with an emphasis in Autism. In addition, I have a degree in business from Cal Poly, Pomona, along with experience working as an accountant. 

My philosophy of education is that education teaches all students to understand how to pursue, value, and enjoy learning. I feel that all students deserve the opportunity to feel included and confident about their learning. I am an easy-going person but also very hard working. I love learning new things and re-learning old ones. I spend time with my family, travel, and enjoy my dogs when I am not at work.
