My Life

This year marks my 22nd year in education.  Besides being a classroom teacher, I have been an online teacher, Lead teacher, Master teacher, Curriculum Coach, and BTSA support provider for new teachers. I have loved every part of my journey in education, but my heart lies truly in the classroom.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Liberal Studies and minored in Reading at San Diego State University. I attended graduate school at Cal State Fullerton and received my multiple subject teaching credential.

I love anything tropical and pineapples because I was married in Maui. I have a beautiful daughter, Gianna (Gigi), who is four years old and, in my free time, I love to cook, travel, exercise, and cheer on my SDSU Aztecs!. I also love spending time with my family and our dog Daygo!
