• About Ms. Kilsby and Mrs. Gurwitt
  •  Miss Robin
I am so excited to be back and teaching at Solana Pacific. I have been teaching in Solana Beach School District for twenty years. I have been a Classroom teacher, ELL Teacher, and a Reading Specialist. At Solana Santa Fe, I have taught second, third, and fourth grade.
Eight years ago, my husband and I and our three boys moved to Curacao, a small island off of Venezuela, to teach internationally. We were fortunate to teach at a very progressive and inspiring school. There, I taught language arts to both middle school and high school students. It was a wonderful experience and it made me realize how much I enjoy upper grades.
I received my B.A. at U.C. Davis and then went on to get my Teaching Credential at California State, Sacramento. From there, I moved to Clemson, South Carolina where I taught fourth grade and received my M.Ed, at Clemson University.
I am so excited to get to know my new families and students. I look forward to working closely with all of you to make this a fantastic year for everyone.
    Sincerely, Robin Kilsby
