Dear Families and Students of Room 206,

Our fourth grade team has been busy planning and getting ready for the new school year.  This year we will continue to extend our math skills and problem solving abilities.  We will also read and write a lot!!  In science we will study ecosystems, magnets and electricity, rocks and minerals and erosion.  In social studies we will study California history beginning with Native Americans and moving along to the Gold Rush days.  As we focus on the above curriculum, we will be integrating technology throughout our units of study as each student will have use of their own classroom iPad.

I am so excited to be your child’s teacher.  I am confident we will have an excellent year together.
