    Dive into a great book

    Join us for a week long Read-a-Thon event!  Solana Highlands PTA has created this fun and easy way to promote reading and engage our students to benefit our Media Center, Library and 2019 Educational Programs and Resources.  

    Get ready for a week of amazing activities, surprises, rewards and prizes for allPrize contributors include Gepetto’s, Sand Castle Tales Bookstore, Ceramicafe, Sweetpea, Morgan Run Resort, Corepower Yoga, Soul Cycle, Parakeet Café and more!

    Awards and pledges are based on minutes read by students from October 12-18th.  A daily minimum of 25 minutes is the goal!  

    Recognition and awards go to students who log:

    80 minutes of reading
    175 minutes of reading
    Top minutes per grade
    Overall highest number of minutes

    PLUS, each day, the class with the most minutes earns extra recess! Top classparticipation and fundraising awards will also be given at the end of the week!

    We are asking for a pledge minimum of $75 to reach our overall goal of $15,000 or more. 

    This year, we're using a web-based fundraising system for you to easily request pledges and make secure credit card donations online. Remember, logging tAmes place October 12-18th, so please register now to benefit our school Media Center, Library and 2019 Programs:

    1. Go to http://pledgestar.com/solana92130
    2. Click “Not Registered For This Year’s Event”
    3. Enter your name and email address, then click “Submit”
    4. Follow the instructions on-screen to register students
    5. You will receive a notification each time a pledge is made and you can track your pledge progress online. Call 1-888-598-7510 if you need help  

    It's fun, it's easy and students get a prize just for participating!
