• What is the Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELO-P)?
    Assembly Bill 130 provides funds for after-school and intersession expanded learning opportunities for qualifying students. Program components include literacy and enrichment activities, physical activity, and an afternoon snack in a safe environment that  promotes emotional wellness and building relationships.
    The ELO-P is offered through the Solana Beach School District's Child Development Center (CDC).

    School dismissal to 6:00 p.m.

    Days of Operation
    The days of operation will follow the CDC Calendar
    CDC School-Age Calendar 2023-24

    Location
    The CDC provides the ELO-P at all seven SBSD school sites during the school year
    Summer Camp Programs are held at Carmel Creek, Skyline, and Solana Pacific schools

    Student Eligibility for Free ELO-P Enrollment
    Students who are enrolled in SBSD's schools and:

    • Qualify for the Free or Reduced Lunch Program
    • Classified as Foster Youth
    • Experiencing homelessness
