What is the Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELO-P)?
Assembly Bill 130 provides funds for after-school and intersession expanded learning opportunities for qualifying students. Program components include literacy and enrichment activities, physical activity, and an afternoon snack in a safe environment that promotes emotional wellness and building relationships.
The ELO-P is offered through the Solana Beach School District's Child Development Center (CDC).

The days of operation will follow the CDC Calendar
CDC School-Age Calendar 2024-25
Location
The CDC provides the ELO-P at all seven SBSD school sites during the school year
Summer Camp Programs are held at Carmel Creek and Solana Pacific. Summer transportation is available if camp is not held at your child's home school.
Student Eligibility for Free ELO-P Enrollment
Students who are enrolled in SBSD's schools and:- Qualify for the Free or Reduced Lunch Program
- Classified as Foster Youth
- Experiencing homelessness
