The Solana Beach Child Development Center Programs are required to follow health and safety guidance from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), San Diego County Public Health and Human Services, and Cal-Osha.
The CDC Programs follow the K-12 Schools Guidance and student exposures in CDC Child Care, Enrichment Classes, District Band, or Academic Clubs follow the COVID-19 K-12 Decision Tree and are eligible for three quarantine options based upon the circumstances surrounding exposure. The possible options include:
*Modified Quarantine: students remain in school, are asymptomatic, are tested 2x weekly for the quarantine period and are not able to attend any CDC program during the quarantine timeline.
*Return on Day 8: student remains at home for seven days, provides evidence of a negative COVID-19 test on or after Day 5 of the quarantine timeline.
*Return on Day 11: student remains at home for ten days and is able to return on Day 11 without a test and is symptom-free.
