    Dear Solana Highlands Families,

    PARENT MEETING K-6 CONVERSION

    Please join Superintendent Brentlinger and Principal Jara on Friday, November 1st in the upper media center at 9am to begin the discussion of growing Solana Highlands into a K-6 school. Hope to see you there!

    RED RIBBON WEEK

    Mark Your Calendars! Red Ribbon Week is starting on Monday, October 28th! Red Ribbon Week is a nationwide program which is sponsored by the San Dieguito Alliance and endorsed by the Solana Beach School District and PTA.  The purpose of Red Ribbon Week is to establish a commitment within our community and our schools to promote healthy lifestyles.

    We would like to thank Cleo Kantor, our Red Ribbon Week Chairperson, for all her efforts to make next week a meaningful and memorable experience for our students. We also want to thank you, our parents and families, for supporting your child in their quest to make good choices, eat healthy, and to stay active!

    A big thank you to John and Elle Torykian who represented Solana Highlands at City Hall’s Red Ribbon Week Proclamation and had the opportunity to meet David Zito, the Mayor of Solana Beach.

    2nd Annual SBSD STREAM Fest!  

    Solana Beach Schools Foundation presents the 2nd annual SBSD STREAM Fest! Save the date: Saturday, November 2nd from 10 AM to 2 PM on the grounds of Solana Pacific Elementary. This year's theme is ReYOUse, promoting awareness around conservation and recycling efforts to help our planet. There will be engineering challenges, interactive stations, robotic exhibitions, food trucks...just to name a few! Check out the fliers and posters on campus and use the QR code to download the ReYOUse app for more information! STREAM Fest is a free event for all ages, so bring your families and friends!
