Student Council
Skyline School's Student Council is primarily a service organization. Every classroom (K-6) elects a representative who serves a year-long term. The representatives from the 6th grade classrooms serve as the Cabinet, with each member acting as the council chair for a month. Each representative is responsible for coordinating community service projects for his/her classroom; examples of these projects include participating in the Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF program, making placemats for Meals on Wheels and adopting local families for the holidays. Student Council representatives also play an active role in promoting the school's Character Education program.
In addition, the Student Council representatives organize monthly School Spirit Days, collect and implement student suggestions for school improvement and host an annual school-wide Talent Show.
