    Dear Solana Highlands Families and Community, 

    Welcome to the 2024-25 school year! It is with great enthusiasm that I look forward to the upcoming school year and meeting all of our students and families! I am thrilled to be your new Principal and lead such an awesome community of learners! 

    I have proudly served as an educator for the past twenty-one years and have had the pleasure of teaching elementary students as well as specializing as a reading intervention teacher for fourth and fifth-grade students. For the past eleven years, I have worked alongside staff, students, and families as an assistant principal and principal. I firmly believe that building strong relationships and partnerships with staff, students and their families leads to a successful and meaningful school experience.

    My wife and I relocated to North County with our two daughters, who are 16 and 14 years old, three years ago. We love traveling, hiking, spending time at the beach, and going to concerts together.

    I am excited to be a part of the Solana Beach School District and Solana Highlands community focusing on the whole child, helping them discover their love and passion for learning and life, and look forward to connecting with each and every one of you and learning about your child and family. My door is always open if you need anything or just want to connect.
