Welcome to Solana Santa Fe Elementary School, home of the coyotes!  We are one of six schools in the Solana Beach School District and rely on our mission statement along with our strategic plan to guide our educational efforts.  Our P.T.O. (Parent, Teacher Organization) and Foundation for Learning provide substantial financial and volunteer support to our school, which includes specialized programs, technology, science, art, music, and physical education.
Solana Santa Fe is a Kindergarten through 6th grade school and has a proud history of student success, which is a tribute to the extraordinary efforts of the teachers, support staff, and parents.

Grade 3-6 will be taking the CAASPP field test during the next three weeks. Following the CAASPP, all of our students will begin the final round of MAP testing. Please ask your child's teacher when their class will be taking their various tests as it is important for your child to be in attendance on those days. It is also important for children to get enough sleep the night before a big test and to eat a healthy breakfast that includes protein. A brain that is sufficiently hydrated has been show to help improve test scores. (For more information on CAASPP - click here to read the testing letter from our Asst. Superintendent.)

  • Technology Drive

    Donate button

The SSF Technology Drive has begun.  In partnership with the Solana Beach Foundation for Learning (SBFL), we are conducting the Technology Drive to raise funds for technology needs such as:  update and repair of equipment such as computers, projector and iPads, providing iPads to classroom using older technology, tech support, apps and software and continuing education and staff development for our teachers.

This year we are asking for at least a $250 donation per family to support our students, but a gift of any size is greatly appreciated. We are striving for 100% participation and as a thank you for participating - we will have a unique opportunity drawing during Spring Fling!  Prizes include 4 seats to Jubilee and VIP parking in the principal's spot (for up to 4 days arranged in advance through the front office).
Look for the Technology Drive letter coming home with your child.  You can donate online by clicking the red button above or by returning the donation card sent home with the letter.  Donations you make through the SBFL are used only by SSF and are tax deductible!  Thank you!!
