                                                                                             “Inspiring Greatness in Tomorrow's Leaders!”

    Dear Families,

I feel very fortunate to be the principal of Solana Ranch. I have been in education for 21 years, 8 years as a teacher and 13 years as an administrator. Sixteen of these years have been within our amazing district; and I could not feel more fortunate. It is an honor to be in a school district that provides such a well-rounded education for its students.

Of course, to be a great school requires support from parents. The value that our families place on education, their volunteering and contributions to the PTO and Foundation, is a most important ingredient to the success of our school. It is my passion to work with our Solana Ranch families as we continuously strive to create an educational Utopia for our students.

Our mission at Solana Ranch is to inspire greatness in tomorrow’s leaders by providing a dynamic learning environment where all students maximize their potential intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally. At Solana Ranch, we want our students to be great by receiving the skills that they need in the 21st century. We will do this in a multitude of ways, but the foundation that we will draw from is “The Leader in Me” school-wide model, based on the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. By teaching students these habits, which will be woven throughout students’ day, we will create not just great students, but also great citizens with great character.

Our school will nurture the growth of all students’ unique and special gifts by fostering academic success and independence, encouraging a love of learning, and celebrating every child’s individual talents. Our staff, in conjunction with our families and community, will continue to create a rigorous and nurturing school environment that is focused on creating the leaders of tomorrow.
I’m looking forward to creating something special together.

    Sincerely,
