    The Solana Vista Library is the perfect spot for students to find themselves immersed in a welcoming environment, surrounded by a well-curated collection of children's books. Awash in natural light, soft seating, and engaging reading materials, the library is one of our students' favorite spots in our school! Each and every child is encouraged to discover stories and read content that encourages a curious mind and brings joy. We believe that book choice and "reading what you love," will grow our students into life-longer readers and learners! 
     
    Our collection includes:
    • Picture Books
    • Non-fiction Picture Books, Graphic Novels, and Chapter Books
    • Fiction Graphic Novels & Chapter Books
    • Easy Reader Titles (Fiction and Non-fiction)
    • Biographies
    • Reference Materials
    • Teacher Resources

    Library Visits: Students visit the School Library every other week with their class as a part of "Discovery Labs" (Kindergarten and Jumpstart visit weekly). During each visit, Mrs. Rainville (Teacher/Librarian) and Mrs. Haller (Library Assistant) facilitate and lead students in the following:

    • A lesson in literacy, research, and/or digital citizenship
    • A read aloud or book talks, and
    • Support the library book check out process
