Let the school year begin!  First grade presents a new wave of learning.  This year will be filled with excitement of meeting new friends and engaging with old pals.  Its the curious minds, the active learners and my passion to teach that will inspire us to develop as a classroom community.    Together we will foster a great sense of community based on mutual respect that will lead to positive choice making, risk-taking, problem solving, and ownership. I will lay a foundation to foster a desire and excitement for learning that will stay with your child throughout his/her academic life. Through the use of projects, hands-on activities, technology, independent work and cooperative learning.  My goal is to guide my students to reach their fullest potential.
