WELCOME TO THIRD GRADE!

Our team consists of Mrs. Hacker, Mrs. Hjalmarson, Mrs. Klinge, Mrs. Ray, Mrs. Redo and Mrs. Schroeder. Cumulatively, we have well over 100 years of teaching experience! Get ready for the exciting adventures of third grade! Some of the stops we'll make along the way will include: Increasing our knowledge of reading comprehension and increasing our skills for written responses across informational and fictional stories. We will utilize our skills by exploring novel studies such as Charlotte's Web and Shoeshine Girl. We have a wide variety of hands-on ways to learn math skills, such as CGI to support real world problem-solving. We utilize Next Generation Science Standards in our STREAM Lab (Science, Technology, Research, Engineering, Art, and Math), and will understand San Diego through the eyes of the Kumeyaay, and so much more. We are so excited to be part of your educational journey here at Carmel Creek before heading on to a new school and the new adventures of fourth grade!
