Hi there! My name is Jojo Piranio and I'm absolutely thrilled to be spending my seventh year in the classroom at this incredibly inviting and invotative school.

 I am a passionate, energetic educator and person. My favorite thing to do is throw my head back for a good, loud laugh. I love learning/ trying new things and engaging in conversation with everyone. I received my Bacholor's degree in psychology because I am intrigued and fascinated by the way people think and behave. I decided to become a teacher when I realized I never wanted to stop learning. This eagerness led me to my Master's degree in Education where I stayed true to my psychology roots and studied metacognition in mathematics. These experiences allow me to grow as an educator every year. I feel so fortunate to engage and build relationships with the students and parents in my classroom and with dedication and practice, inspire them to love learning/school as much as I do. 

Outside of school you can find me dancing, watching sports, or taking my two rescue doggies to the beach!
