i-Ready Diagnostic Assessments and Personalized Instruction

To support continuous learning and instructional decision making, the Solana Beach School District uses the i-Ready Mathematics and Reading Inform assessments as one of many measures to monitor student progress and support instructional decision-making.
i-Ready Assessments are administered to all students districtwide 2-3 times a year in additional to other classroom and district assessments to monitor and support student progress.
The California Department of Education (CDE) has identified i-Ready as an approved diagnostic assessment tool. The computer-based assessments include diagnostic and standards mastery assessments that can be used coherently to monitor and support student progress.
i-Ready Inform is an adaptive assessment that adjusts its questions in real time as students respond. Each item that a student sees is individualized based on their answer to the previous question.
i-Ready Personalized Instruction provides students with lessons based on their individual skill level and needs so your student can learn at a pace that is just right for them. Please note this is only one of many resources to support targeted skill development for your child. This does not replace the instruction of the classroom teacher.
