A little something to think about:
Staying Healthy at SV
Students and staff are partaking in preventive measures to help keep us all healthy and happy at Solana Vista. We have been emphasizing three important ways to prevent the spread of germs: frequent hand washing, sneezing/coughing into elbows, and limiting hands touching face area. Teachers have reviewed these prevention strategies with all students. It is our expectation that ALL students will regularly wash their hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer. Some classes discussed COVID 19 using this informational video. Please feel free to use this information to continue the conversation at home as to what we can all do to help ourselves, family, friends, and community to stay healthy! In addition, here is a parent resource from the National Association of School Psychologists regarding COVID19: https://www.nasponline.org/resources-and-publications/resources-and-podcasts/school-climate-safety-and-crisis/health-crisis-resources/talking-to-children-about-covid-19-(coronavirus)-a-parent-resource.
Thank you,
