Dear Carmel Creek Families,
A press release recently went out from our Solana Beach School District Office informing the community that our school site and district offices will be closed during the upcoming holiday breaks from:
November 25th to November 29th, 2019
December 23rd to January 3rd, 2020
Thank you for participating in our parent-teacher conferences. It is a special time to strengthen the partnership with your child’s teacher(s). We appreciate your presence and the investment in your child’s education and our school.
It truly does take a village.
As we approach the time of year when we are encouraged to reflect on the many gifts given to us, I am eternally grateful for our special Carmel Creek community. Our teachers and support staff are some of the most dedicated and stellar professionals in education. Our parents and caregivers are always willing to lend a helping hand, share resources and support our enrichment programs that foster a well-rounded education. Every act of giving is appreciated.
Lost and Found
Friday, November 22nd is the last chance to retrieve lost and found items. I am impressed with how many items were returned to their owners this week. Thanks for stopping by the lobby table. Items left behind will be donated to a local charity on Friday after 3:00.
As we approach the winter holiday season, my wish is that you are surrounded by loved ones and enjoy the treasured moments you may be afforded with your family.
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity.” – Melody Beattie, The Language of Letting Go.
Happy Fall Break!
