The Solana Beach School District Band is open to all fourth through sixth graders in the Solana Beach School District.  The Band meets in the Skyline Activity Center from 3:15-5:15 once a week.

 

Beginning Band meets Tuesdays after school.  Students do not need any prior experience to join Beginning Band.  The fall semester includes an hour of instrument specific coaching taught by qualified musicians.

 

Advanced Band meets on Thursdays after school.  Students must have participated in Beginning Band, Summer Band, or have prior experience playing an instrument before registering for Advanced Band.

 

Instrument Choices include flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, trombone, baritone, tuba, or percussion (drums).  Students need an instrument to participate.

Band Tuition is $650.00 which includes 28 classes, concerts, and school events.  Both Beginning Band and Advanced Band participate in Disneyland's Sessions of Sound.
