In Solana Beach, the school district, families, and community work together to make our schools great places to learn. The Solana Beach Foundation for Learning (SBFL) and active parent teacher organizations (PTAs and PTOs) provide substantial financial and volunteer support to our schools. Together these organizations provide additional funding for specialized programs such as technology, science, art, music, and physical education.

Our mission statement, coupled with our Board of Education's vision, guides our educational efforts. We strive for a commitment to academic excellence for all complemented by safe, healthy learning environments; rich experiential learning opportunities; and exposure to and experience with current technology tools and programs.

The Solana Beach School District has a proud history of successful recognition as a district with outstanding schools and programs for children. Our successes are a tribute to the extraordinary efforts of the teachers, support staff, parents, and community participants.
