In the 2012 administration tests will include:

California Standards Tests (CST)
Grades 2 - 6
  • English/Language Arts
  • Mathematics

Grade Five
  • Science

California Modified Assessment* (CMA) in the following grades and subjects:
Grades 3 - 6

  • English/Language Arts
  • Mathematics

Grade Five

  • Science

* CMA is for students with an individualized education program (IEP) who cannot achieve grade-level proficiency on the CSTs with or without accommodations and who meet eligibility criteria adopted by the State Board of Education.


California Alternate Performance Assessment (CAPA)
Levels correspond to specific grades as follows:

Level I — Grades Two through Eleven (the most significantly cognitively disabled students)
Level II — Grades Two and Three
Level III — Grades Four and Five
Level IV — Grades Six through Eight
 
Standards-Based Test in Spanish (STS)
 

Spanish-speaking English learners who have been enrolled in the United States public schools less than 12 months will take the STS.
 
Physical Fitness Test (PFT)  

The designated testing window for administration of the Physical Fitness Test is February, March, April or May.
